Jan 29th-30th (CFA) Saintly City Cat Club, St. Paul, MN This show is held in conjunction with the St. Paul Winter Carnival.
March 12th-13th, 2011 (TICA) Twin Cities Pet Expo
Licorice (Pictured Above) is a Black Smoke Egyptian Mau. Egyptian Mau's are the only naturally spotted domesticated cat. They originated in Egypt and are considered the working cats of Egypt. Egyptian Mau's come in 3 colors Black Smoke, Silver, and Bronze. They have gooseberry green eyes, mascara lines and broken necklaces around their neck and the spotting is in a random pattern on the torso. The spotting on the Black Smokes are considered "ghost spotting" where the cat appears black but against the correct light you can see the spotting. The Black Smokes are considered rare compared to the more popular Silvers.
